Emotions and Mindfulness
Many people struggle with managing and working through difficult emotions. The ability to name and communicate feelings can make a big difference.
Dan Siegel, M.D., is a clinical professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine and has written several books which focus on the development of mindfulness, insight, and empathy for people of all ages.
Thich Nhat Hanh was considered the father of “engaged Buddhism” which is a practice linking mindfulness with social action. He wrote more than 100 books on mindfulness, kindness and compassion.

Relationships with a friend or family member with personality disorder traits can feel impossible to describe. This community can help you find your words as you step into greater awareness.

Paula Freedman, PsyD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist as well as a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and is writing a series of articles aimed at helping people develop peaceful relationships with food and their bodies.
